Baby High Top Leather Shoes Review: Our 7-Month-Old's Most Photographed Accessory

We bought the Baby High Top Leather Shoes for our daughter's 6-month photo session, fully expecting them to be a one-use purchase. Three months later, they're still being worn — and still getting compliments.

First Impressions

The shoes arrived beautifully packaged. The leather quality is immediately apparent — soft, supple, with a gentle sheen rather than a plastic-looking finish. They look exactly like high-quality miniature adult shoes, which is precisely the charm of the category. The sole is soft and flexible — appropriate for a non-walking baby. They bend easily, which reassured us they wouldn't restrict her foot movement.

The Staying-On Test

Our previous baby shoe experience taught us that most shoes spend more time on the floor than on baby's feet. The high top design completely solved this problem. Even our dedicated shoe-remover left them on for 3-4 hour stretches without apparent effort to remove them.

After Three Months of Occasional Use

We estimate she's worn these approximately 20-25 times. The leather has developed a beautiful soft patina and the stitching remains entirely intact. The rubber sole shows minimal wear.
